Our history.
Wilkinson Dunn Company was formed in 1932, with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to meet the needs of our valued customers. For over nine decades, each of the agency’s experienced owners have had a hand in shaping Wilkinson Dunn Company into the agency that it is today. The chronological story is depicted below.

- William E. Wilkinson started his career in Wellsboro in 1932.Wilkinson Dunn Company was formed in 1950 by William E. Wilkinson and Arthur H. Dunn.
- Bill Wilkinson began sole ownership after the passing of Arthur H. Dunn until 1985. Wilkinson Dunn Company operated as independent insurance and real estate agents and brokers.
- In 1985, Terry Neubold and Tom Rudy purchased the business from Bill Wilkinson.
- The Williamsport Agency was purchased in 1988 and the Williamsport location established.
- In 1989, a Century 21 franchise was acquired and the real estate business operated as Century 21 Wilkinson Dunn Co.
- The insurance business of Wetzel-Rider Co. was purchased in 2003 and merged into Wilkinson Dunn Company.
- Terry Neubold became the sole owner in 2004 and the Century 21 franchise was sold.
- Mary McKinley became a shareholder in 2010 and was our corporate Secretary/Treasurer until 2020 when she became the sole owner & President.
